Vagus Nerve Alignment: Circuit Healing.

DId you know that the Vagus nerve is the longest running nerve in the autonomic nervous system? This is important because that area is responsible for the involuntary actions of the body that needs to flow without being hindered. But there is another consideration when it comes to understanding the Vagus nerve; when it is stimulated the right and intentional way, it helps us work on the stressors and keep the body going; even when there are outside challenges. This is of the utmost importance to understand.

So when we are considering Vagus nerve stimulation, what we are actually talking about is innervation; supplying as much nutrition and energy for nerve supply for the Vagus nerve. Now, we know by conscious thought by visualizing the area, it sends more electrical signals to the area. This links up with the atrioventricular node and back to the Vagus bundles: this supports the heart and the nervous system. What we have found is that when any part of this connection is broken this can lead to angina, congestive heart failure, and even hypertension down the line.

We are finding that the Vagus Nerve is responsible for so many things beside the regulation of the nervous system. It plays a major role in negotiating inflammation responses in the body. This has so much to do with fat digestion: separating the unnecessary parts and keeping the healthy portions for the body.

So while we know this, we do want to eat foods that heal and uplift the Vagus Nerve. Some of the best foods for this are sauerkraut. This food contains active cultures for the nerve bundles. Another source of healing is Miso soup surprisingly. Miso is strongly filled with probiotics for the gut-brain pathway that we have spoken about here. In addition to all of this, berries, garlic and oregano are all very helpful in supporting the Vagus nerve, which has so many dimensions. But what we know is this: when the Vagus Nerve is stimulated the right way, human bodies function at their best.
